Find the programme before the episode
Search the show’s name and confirm its production year. The first year identifies the series, not every later season. A query for a newer season of Modern Family or The Rookie should still bring you back to the programme that began earlier.
Record where you stopped
On the series page, choose a recorded season and enter the last episode you completed. Save the checkpoint. The reminder stays in this browser and appears again when you return to the title or open My List.
This is a manual episode note rather than an exact playback position. If you stopped halfway through an episode, use the viewing player’s resume feature for that point. Do not mark an episode complete simply because you opened its page.
Keep separate stories separate
Use one checkpoint for each programme when alternating between sitcoms, crime dramas and a continuing story such as The Summer I Turned Pretty. Clear a reminder when starting a rewatch; that does not remove the show from your favourites.
Check the viewing season
Recorded episode information and an available streaming edition are different things. Open Watch now and inspect the season actually offered in your country. A programme can remain useful in your list even when you decide to continue with another show tonight.
